Welcome to Biology department at NMSU
This machine is running Genome browser to display various projects that are inspired by the runs of Roche 454 GS-FLX
platform that we have. An example database located here
(user name guest and password guest) represents the Hoatzin genomic DNA reads and Aramus cDNA assemblies produced by two different assemblers mapped against the chicken reference genome.
Here are various projects related to Staphylococcus strains and sources of their resistance to various environmental factors and virulence
The other projects (many have restricted access):
- Drosophila melanogaster transcriptome reads mapped to the reference genome
- Aedes aegypti transcriptome reads mapped to the reference genome
- TB disease progression cow transcriptome reads mapped to the reference genome
- Cryphonectria parasitica reads mapped to the reference genome
- Cryphonectria parasitica v.2 reads mapped to the reference genome
- Hoatzin 454 FLX reads mapped to assembled Hoatzin MT genome
- Hoatzin 454 FLX reads mapped to chicken genome
- Hoatzin 454 FLX reads mapped to zebra finch genome
- Reads from New Mexico outbreak of Mycobacterium bovis mapped against the AF2122/97 complete M.bovis reference genome
- NCGR Illumina cow transcriptome reads from the animal stimulated with TB mapped to cow reference genome
- Vibrio fischeri strain JRM200 mapped to reference genomes
- Vibrio fischeri strain 5C mapped to reference genomes
- Vibrio fischeri strain EM17 mapped to reference genomes
- Vibrio fischeri strain SA1G mapped to reference genomes
- Vibrio fischeri strain CB37 mapped to reference genomes
The Microsatellites related projects
- Poppy EST microsatellites project with prediced SSRs (no access restrictions)
- Euphydryas anicia cloudcrofti genomic DNA microsatellites project with prediced SSRs
- Second run genomic DNA microsatellites project with prediced SSRs
